Meet Julio: Founder, Owner, and Lead Technician
Julio didn't start his career running a body shop. He started it inside Tesla, one of the most technically demanding environments in the automotive industry. After years of working on Tesla vehicles at a factory level, he brought that knowledge, discipline, and precision back to the San Fernando Valley and built The California Auto Body Shop from the ground up in 2017.
Today, with over 25 years of hands-on experience across all makes and models, Julio leads every major repair personally. He is one of the only former Tesla technicians running an independent body shop in the San Fernando Valley, which means when your Tesla comes in for collision repair, the person overseeing the work understands how that vehicle was built at the factory level, not just how to fix what's visible.
Julio's philosophy is straightforward: do the job right, communicate honestly, and treat every vehicle like it belongs to someone you know.
